Dr. William (Bill) Doggett FACO, FICC
Fellow of the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists
Fellow of the International College of Chiropractic

Dr. Doggett is the director of the SunBear Chiropractic Center. He has practiced in Albuquerque since 1983, shortly after his graduation, with honors, from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (now Southern California University of Health Science). His first office was in the Bridge and Goff area of Albuquerque’s South Valley. He later practiced with the largest regional chiropractic group advancing from treating doctor to Vice President of Clinical Affairs.

Dr. Doggett is recognized as a family and sports chiropractor. He frequently donates his time and talent to the treatment and examination of children entering sporting activities and athletic activities. Some of the groups Dr. Doggett has volunteered to serve are the National Youth Sports Program, New Mexico Rodeo Association, Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, the LPGA Futures golf tour, the PGA- Buy.Com golf tour and the Four Winds Adventure Race. He enjoys working with athletes from all age and experience levels. During High School and College he participated in football, gymnastics, golf, baseball, and softball.

Dr. Doggett was born and raised in the Chicago area. Both his parents were middle school teachers. Before discovering the benefits of chiropractic care he worked in manufacturing, retail clothing and the restaurant industries. His work led him to live in many of the major cities east of the Mississippi so when he moved from Washington DC to Los Angeles to attend Chiropractic College he decided that the southwest was where he would establish his practice and raise his family. His only child, Leryn, has recently graduated from Chapman University in Orange, California with degrees in English and Theatre Arts.

Dr. Doggett’s first love is providing healthcare using chiropractic methods. He also enjoys horseback riding on Zoey and Zack the horses he keeps at his home in the South Valley. He also likes to relax by scuba diving, playing golf, watching movies at home, tending his yard and garden, canning fruits and vegetables, and reading historical non-fiction and Tony Hillerman books.
